D-I BP65

Here we are, less than 24 hours from Selection Sunday. Every conference tournament has completed at least its quarterfinals, and the bubble has gotten dramatically smaller. It's getting pretty clear which 65 teams will be in the field, and where they'll be seeded. This will be the last BP65 before the Final BP65, which will be out approximately an hour before the real brackets come out on CBS's Selection Show. Please keep in mind that some teams will move between now and then even though they won't play, because one thing I always do the last 24 hours before Selection Sunday is to go through all of these resumes in depth to be certain that I have the best final bracket I can. I haven't yet had time to digest all of the results from today, so my opinions on some of these teams might change a bit between now and 24 hours from now.

Please stay tuned later tonight (or this morning... depending on which part of the country you're in) for a look at where the bubble stands now.

For now, here's how I see things ending up:

1. KANSAS (BIG 12)

Other teams considered, but that just missed the cut:
Seton Hall, Wichita State, Mississippi State

Decent resumes, but not good enough:
Minnesota, Memphis, Arizona State, Mississippi

Long shots, but still in the at-large discussion:
Dayton, Cincinnati, UAB

Still alive, but pretty much need a miracle:
Connecticut, South Florida

Utah St. as a 12 seed would be a total screw job by the committee. I'm hoping they don't do that to them.

And no, UConn is not still alive.

Georgetown a 6 seed -- do you even pay attention to college basketball?
