W-16 BP68

We're 16 weeks away from Selection Sunday, and we're starting to see more movement in the bracket. I only made one change among the 68 teams in the field (Saint Mary's is in, South Carolina is out), but a whole bunch of teams were moved around. This list of teams "seriously considered" for the bracket but were left out was thinned quite a bit this week. Teams like Virginia, Rutgers and VCU just are too far from the Tournament right now, in my opinion.

Among the teams out of the bracket, a few teams were moved in and out of those groups as well. Utah and Boston College have showed enough to convince me they're not going to be in any at-large consideration and were removed. A few teams did have positive results that caused me to raise an eyebrow and to add them to the final category, including Oregon State and Boise State.

Next week I'll have the W-15 BP68. The week after that I'll separate the teams left out of the bracket from three groups to four groups.

As always, this is my projection of where things will be on Selection Sunday, and not a statement on where things stand now.
