Kyrie Irving, John Hart Hurt

It looks like Kyrie Irving could be out for a while. Right now they're saying Irving will be out indefinitely. After getting hurt against Butler, Irving actually came back into the game, but I wrote at the time that his injury was the kind that can bother players for a while and that it could be a lingering problem. Duke will be favored in every game they play the rest of the season, so they will continue to be on their way to an ACC title and a 1 seed even if he misses another month or longer, but they will want him back and 100% soon enough that the offense won't get out of sync when he's back.

Another injury to pay attention to is Purdue's John Hart, who looks to be out for about a month with a stress fracture in his right foot. Hart is a sharpshooter and he gets a lot of shots because defenses have to key so much on E'Twaun Moore and JaJuan Johnson. He really helps to spread the floor. Purdue has a pretty soft schedule for the next month, so they should be able to get along just fine for the time being, but if this injury drags out even longer than projected then it will become a problem.
