Teams seriously considered that just missed the cut:
Clemson, NC State, Cincinnati, Providence, Michigan, Iowa State, Southern Miss, Missouri State, California
Other teams with a decent shot, but that need to improve their resume:
Georgia Tech, Miami (Fl), Virginia, Dayton, Duquesne, Rhode Island, St. John's, Seton Hall, Indiana, Drexel, George Mason, VCU, UAB, Cleveland State, Arizona State, UCLA, USC, Arkansas, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina, Portland
Other teams I'm keeping my eye on, but that need to dramatically improve their resume:
Wake Forest, La Salle, UMass, Saint Louis, Rutgers, South Florida, Iowa, Penn State, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Marshall, UTEP, Tulsa, Creighton, Northern Iowa, Air Force, Colorado State, TCU, Utah, Oregon, Stanford, Alabama, LSU, Mississippi State, Boise State

Hello Jeff sometimes i cant understand the pomeroy ratings. ¿do you think that the ratings are good? The pomeroy ratings put Stephen Austin better than dayton, wofford, long beach. Are you agree whit that? Can i trust in that ratings to make a bet? Because after i read your predictions i think you are better than the ratings.
Continued with my comment Jeff i want too ask you. How can i know who are a better team? Im really like your way that you writte and i know that you know a lot. I need to be honest with you, i like to bet but the ncaa basketball its difficult to me i dont understand why teams that are in the top 25 lost with very poor teams.
The Pomeroy ratings are the best objective ratings, in my opinion. But they're not perfect, and they are still working off a small sample set - they'll be more accurate as the year goes along.
But upsets always happen. Nobody can perfectly project the future. No objective rating system on the planet is going to pick UIC to beat Illinois.
